November showcased some great winter red carpet looks to ease us into the upcoming award season. Film premieres and TV photocalls displayed shorter, fun looks to banish the winter blues. Chic street style should hopefully provide us with some much need winter fashion inspiration for the cold days of December.
Red Carpet Glam
Emily Rossum looked festive on the Saban Community Clinics 37th Annual Benefit Gala in a black bejewelled Naeem Khan two piece. Naomi Campbell maintained her Supermodel rep in a white, custom made Roberto Cavalli dress at the GQ Awards in Sydney, Australia on November 19th. Actress Emma Roberts looked lovely in a short black subtle print dress with sheer embellished long sleeves to the H&M Isabel Marant launch.
Promoting The Hunger Games Catching Fire, Elizabeth Banks brightened up the redcarpet in a printed Alexander Mc Queen. While Nina Dobrev , wearing Naheem Khan and Kiernan Shipka, in Preen, followed suit in fun, young, colourful ensembles.
Jessica Chastain and her date Karl Lagerfeld looked edgy in black, silver and white combos. Legendary model IMAN (who is 58, by the way!!) wore a tight black and sheer dress to the ACE Awards in NYC. Olivia Palermo also in black and attending the ACE Awards, looked her usual stylish self in a 1920’s inspired flapper dress with gold shoes and an interesting rounded clutch. At The LACMA Awards, Evan Rachel Wood wore a black studded Gucci floor length dress to honour director extraordinaire, Martin Scorsese.
Miss Swift has had quite the month with 5 show stopping outfits. On November 3rd at the BBC Radio1 Teen Awards, Taylor wore an emerald green dress with gold embellishments and shoes to match. A few days later at the CMAs she stunned in a gorgeous Ellie Sabb Coture gown with a sophisticated and on trend updo. Continuing with the theme of embellishments Taylor donned a bejewelled Victoria Secrets number at the Victoria Secrets Fashion Show. At the Weinstein and Co Hollywood party she kept it dark and sultry in a maroon Herve Leroux number. And finally, on November 26th to party with Prince William and Bon Jovi, Taylor wore an embellished sculpted gown to Kensington Palace.
Gisele, Charlize Theron, Rosie Huntington-Whitley and Eva Longoria wore similar black ensembles with oversized handbags and sun glasses on the streets of New York and LA.
Clare Danes turned heads with her new red hair and matching red Giambattista Valli outfit outside the David Letterman Show in NYC. Khloe Kardashian looked chic in a military green three-quarter length coat with light denim jeans and oversized bag at the Kardashian Kollection launch in London. David Beckham looked his usual stylish self at JFK Airport on November 4th and Nicole Roberts also kept it stylish at the airport in a camel coat and black ankle length trousers.
Li Bingbing looked super glamorous in an off-blue-slivery coloured sheer Ellie Sabb couture dress at the 50th Golden Horse Awards. Kate Beckinsale looked absolutely stunning at the LACMA Art and Film Gala in LA on November 3rd in this blue embellished floor length dress. My personal favourite of the month! Model Miranda Kerr, who never puts a fashionable foot wrong in my eyes, wore a baby blue and white combo to the Jaguar F-Type launch.
Let me know who was your best dressed!
