Paris is by far my favourite city! Well, of all the cities I’ve visited… I loved the look of these Born Pretty Store Nostalgic Eiffel Tower Nail Stickers*. The packet contains 14 self adhesive stickers. Randomly enough though, upon closer inspection, two of these stickers include the Colosseum in Rome and Tower Bridge from London. Despite these two, three others include various perspectives of the Eiffel Tower and the final two are Paris themed.
To apply, select your desired sticker and remove the transparent cover. Align the bottom sticker to the top of your nail. Stick to your nail and shape accordingly. I used a nail file and a pair of scissors. To seal apply a clear coat of polish. I applied my stickers to my thumb and ring finger and paired them with BarryM ‘Almond’ polish on my index, middle and baby finger.
Sadly, I found these stickers quite hard to work with. I thought they were quite big for my nails. To make the most of the picture on the sticker your nails would have to be extremely long and wide. Mines are by no means short but they’re not overly long either. I would recommend using these on much longer nails to make the most of the design. These stickers did last well on my nails. Seeing as I have my hands in a lot of water I was impressed with the longevity and they didn’t chip.
I have reviewed other BornPretty nail art stickers before which I loved. I think the length and width of these stickers prevented me from making the most of them. It’s the final week before Christmas! What better way to embrace the festive spirit than a Christmas nail art review and tutorial? For the past week I have been using BornPretty’s Christmas 3D nail stickers. The stickers come in colour and theme co-ordinated groups on a plastic backing. Some of my favourites included Christmas trees, jolly Santa’s and snowmen. These stickers are extremely long lasting, easy to use and look lovely on your nails. I work in a hairdressing salon part-time and my hands are constantly in and out of water. After two days of work these appliques were still perfect!
How to Use
Paint your nails with a base coat. When dry paint them any colour of your choice.
Once fully dry apply the Born Pretty stickers by peeling individual stickers from the plastic backing. This can be difficult at first but I found it best to bend and pinch around the area of the sticker you want to use and the edge will lift from the backing.
Use a pair of tweezers to lift and place the stickers on your nail. The smaller stickers can be trickier to work with so tweezers are the easiest way to apply them.
Born Pretty Nail Stickers with Revlon ‘Sangria’
Seal in your design with one or two applications of a topcoats. Glitter polish is also a great alternative if you want to get an extra few days out of your design.
Top: Plainer Snowman Nails using Rimmel “Aqua Cool” Bottom: Glitter Snowman nails with Santa using Rimmel “Disco Ball”
You can go for all over design or just apply some to your ring fingers.
For the best results pair the silver stickers with dark colours and the greens, blues and whites with lighter colours or a white so the stickers stand out on your nails.
Left created using Rimmel white polish and Born Pretty nail stickers. Right created using red Avon polish and Born Pretty nail stickers
These work best on slightly longer nails but I tried them out on my Auntie who has shorter nails and they still worked out well.

Each season, nail polish and nail art trends are becoming more and more advanced. Nail Art advancement has made it difficult to make your nails look like a standout showpiece. The perfect manicure requires time, patience and LOTS of practice. Dotting tools, stripers, glitter and tape are the new nail-must-haves. That’s before factoring in the polish itself!
To help you I’ve compiled a list of YouTube’s best nail technicians!

In the past few months Jen has been uploading some great nail art tutorials. They are catered towards your average girl and beginners, so you don’t have to be a dab hand at nail art to recreate her designs. The looks Jen creates work perfectly for a night on the town or a day at the office. Jen’s instructions are concise and comprehensive. All her videos are filmed to the highest quality. You can recreate the same tutorial numerous times by changing the colours you use, which is always a bonus when it comes to nail art. Thanks Jen!
Ingrid not only does great makeup videos but her nail polish collection is second to none. While she doesn’t always feature videos specifically about nail polish, if you watch any of her makeup, haul, DIY or favourite’s videos, you’re sure to see her wearing or talking about a beautiful nail colour. She mentions all colours and brands in the description box too. If you’re looking for a review about a specific brand of polish you can bet Ingrid will have the answer.
Mod Nails’ designs are amazing. Their channel is almost a year old but the few designs they have are incredible and look so professional. If you want to wow your friends with halfmoon leopard nails, Betsy Johnston inspired nails or gradient stud caviar nails, have a peek at their channel.
Looking for girlie nail art design? Have a look at some of BubzBeauty’s tutorials. Mixed in with her other random beauty and DIY videos are some real nail art gems! Her spring, dessert, bride and groom and summer floral nails are a few of my personal favourites.
